This was a great class I can not wait to try some making a shabby chic card. Unfortunately, time is not on my side today, so for the "try something new or different challenge" I decided to go with a clean and simple card. I have the hardest time with these, I always want to add more embellishments.
I love butterflies so I used one of the first stamp sets I bought from Gina K stamps called Hope is Faith. I took 4 colors of distress ink and smashed them next to each other on my Kraft sheet and spritz with water mixed with perfect pearls. I then took my stamp and and kind of swirled it around the colors, trying not to mix them to much. I really love the way they both turned out.
Excuse my photography, the lighting in my room is not the best.
Thank you for looking!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove both cards, but the one with the glitter really caught my eye. I also love the way you stamped the sentiment on top of the butterfly on the second card. They are both super nice.
ReplyDeleteVery effective technique! I love the sentiment stamped in black over the butterfly - very striking.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are stunning! I especially like the black matting coupled with the black sentiment! :)
