Stampin Up Owl

 I Love this sketch from Operation Write Home. I have been wanting to make a card with my Stampin' Up owl punch since I got it about 4 months ago. It is so stinkin cute! I ended up making two cards with it. One of my card making goals for the year is every time I sit down to make a card I will make 2, and this was a perfect sketch to do that. I was able to use up the scraps I had from the first card to make the 2nd one.

Here is my first card I made, all though it is cute, I felt it was lacking something. I did not have any small goggly eyes so I used Glossy Accents to make the eyes bug out.

Paper: GinaK Pure Luxury White/black, Stampin' Up Shimmery White, MFT Kraft, My Minds Eye True Blue

Ink: MFT Color Box Chocolate Brown

Here is my second card, again I used my owl punch and i real like the way this one came together. I think I like it better because it looks like he is sitting on a branch. This one I id not Glossy Accent his eyes but did do the heart.
